General Price List

These Prices Are Effective As Of January 1, 2008

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

 Charges for Services Selected

Professional Services:

Basic Service of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead-$995.00
Our services include: conducting the arrangement conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorization and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs. This fee for basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, and immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

Overtime for:

  • Saturday and Evening Service or Visitation - $300.00
  • Sunday Service or Visitation - $450.00

Insurance Processing (Per policy not sold through our mortuaries) - $50.00


Embalming - $350.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Other Preparation of the Body (if requested):

  • Bathing of un-embalmed body, (if requested) - $100.00
  • Final Dressing, Grooming and Preparation - $100.00
  • Hairstylist - $50.00
  • Autopsy and/or Organ Donation Repair - $150.00
  • Other Repair and Restoration - $50.00 per hour


Facilities, Equipment, and Staff:

Use of Facilities and Staff for Viewing - (Mon.-Fri. 10-5 and Sat. 10-2 )

  • In Slumber Room - $50.00

  • Funeral Ceremony at Funeral Home - $445.00

Transportation:

(With a 35 mile radius, beyond this radius we charge - $3.00 per loaded mile)

Transfer of Remains to the Funeral Home - $295.00

Hearse / Casket Coach - $325.00

Basic Service Vehicle / Casket Van - $195.00

Utility / Floral Vehicle - $100.00

Limousine $__________ Up to 3 ½ of service, time begins when a vehicle leaves our garage and continues until it returns. Overtime will be billed hourly as follows: $90.00 per hour.

Escorts (Each) $__________ For the safety of your family and our riders at least 2 escorts are required for each service. Each escort can safely handle up to 10 cars.

Our charge for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes:

Immediate burial with Uncovered County

Direct Cremation - $858.00 to $7,608.00
Our charge for direct cremation (without ceremony) includes:

  • Proportionate share of service of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead - $403.00
  • Transfer of Remains to the Funeral Home - $295.00
  • Charge for Cremation (Cremated remains returned in 3 business days) -$160.00

With alternative container provided by the purchaser - $858.00
With Cardboard Cremation Tray ($80.00) - $938.00
With selected casket or alternative container - $858.00

Price of casket or alternative container not included. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are the Pacific, Shaker, Stratus, Standard and Cardboard Cremation Tray. (A complete price list will be provided at the funeral home.)

Donation to MedCure - $900.00 which MedCure pays
This service includes: No Charge to Family

  • Proportionate share of service of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead - $403.00
  • Transfer of Remains to the Funeral Home - $295.00
  • Charge for Cremation (Cremated remains returned in 3 weeks) - $160.00
  • State Filing Fee - $7.00
  • 2 Oregon Death Certificates - $35.00

(Not all donations are accepted at the time of death. Alternative options of disposition need to be considered by family)

Donation to the OHSU Medical School-$938.00
Our charge for donation to the Medical School includes:

  • Proportionate share of service of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead-$98.00
  • Transfer of Remains to the Funeral Home - $295.00
  • Basic Service Vehicle - $195.00
  • Embalming - $350.00

(Not all donations are accepted at the time of death. Alternative options of disposition need to be considered by family) This is a minimal service option. The funeral director will only provide the minimal service required by law and will not assist with any other aspects that are normally performed

Disinterment - $598.00
Our Charge for a Disinterment includes:

  • Authorizations and up to 2 hours of supervision. (Each additional hour at $75.00 per hour)

Forwarding of Remains to Another Funeral Home-$1,040.00 Our charge includes:

  • Proportionate share of service of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead - $100.00
  • Transfer of Remains to the Funeral Home - $295.00
  • Basic Service Vehicle - $195.00
  • Embalming (If relevant) - $350.00
  • Final Dressing Grooming and Preparation - $100.00


(This fee does not include additional mileage charge, casket, airfare, shipping container, or funeral service.) This is a minimal service option. The funeral director will only provide the minimal service required by law and will not assist with any other aspects that are normally performed.

International Forwarding of Remains Fee - $200.00
This fee includes international calls, documents, and carriers. It is in addition to the Forwarding of Remains to another funeral home charges

Receiving of Remains from Another Funeral Home - $490.00 Our charge includes:

  • Proportionate share of service of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead - $100.00
  • Basic Service Vehicle (Transportation from Airport) - $195.00
  • Basic Service Vehicle (Transport to Cemetery or Crematory) - $195.00

(This fee does not include additional mileage charge, casket, airfare, shipping container, or funeral service.) This is a minimal service option. The funeral director will only provide the minimal service required by law and will not assist with any other aspects that are normally performed.

Our funeral home makes no representation of warranties about the protective value of certain caskets or outer burial containers other than those made by the manufacturer. The only warranties, expressed or implied, granted in connection with goods sold with this funeral service are the express written warranties, if any extended by the manufacturer thereof. No other warranties and no warranties of merchandising fitness for particular product are extended by the seller.
